Hello Everyone

I am looking for families or groups that have food traditions usually centered around holidays or other seasonal events or celebrations.  Really it could be anytime.

Ideally it would be a tradition involving  several generations---ie: grandparents, parents and children--- or ethnic groups that meet to make a traditional food--- it could be special bread from Syria, or ravioli from Italy or stuffed cabbage or pierogies or sausage making--- any food making with family or group , rich in tradition, history and stories.  (family photos and old movies would be great!)

I welcome all suggestions and any "out of the box" leads---nothing is too crazy for me.  And please--though I hate to disappoint---I will not be able to do everyone's idea.

This would be for WQED's Experience program that airs on Monday evening at 7:30.  Scheduled to air sometime in the Spring of 2013. (30 minutes)

Thank you!
