I would like to echo Liz Buchanan's request that our HP neighbors be mindful of pedestrians in our neighborhood (and elsewhere, of course).  Specifically, I think we should push for more markings and/or signs for the intersections that surround Dilworth and Fulton.  The section of Stanton Avenue that is often busy with Dilworth students coming and going from school is far too dangerous...something must be done to impede the breakneck pace of traffic there - perhaps a flashing pedestrian sign, like the one on Forbes Ave. in Squirrel Hill near Little's?  Or should that 
<br><br>I also agree that it might make sense to have more of a squad car presence on the streets near the schools during the times that kids are coming and going.&nbsp; Seeing a few speeders getting ticketed might give folks a reason to slow down, if the possibility of harming children alone cannot motivate them to be more cautious.
<br><br>Also in general - please be neighborly when you are piloting your vehicle in the neighborhood.&nbsp; With narrow, residential streets such as we have, it&#39;s imperative that we observe stop signs and sensible driving speeds.&nbsp; We don&#39;t live only in our houses and cars - we live in the neighborhood itself, which is usually all the more enjoyable and habitable without careening vehicles threatening life, limb, and property.
