The Update
Greenawalt Farm
J.L. KENNEDY MEAT STAND
They will have a variety of locally grown meats. Special items for this week include:
**SIRLOIN/ROAST BURGER PATTIES...sold frozen in stack of 8... pressed sirloin steak plus other beef roasts into these lean patties
**KOLBASSI GRILLER LINKS IN REGULAR OR HOT PEPPER CHEESE...sold by piece or pound
You can call orders in to the farm up until 6pm today (Friday). The number at the farm is 724-898-2316.
Just a reminder that GRASS FED BEEF date is May 19 th...it will be cut, wrapped, and frozen...any and all beef cuts are available by calling in order or stopping at Saturday stand.. it will sell out soon..
Kistaco Farm... Items for this week include:
Zang's Greenhouse... Special items for this week include locally grown asparagus, rhubarb and lettuce. Rick will also have cooking greens (shipped in) and a variety of other vegetables. He will also have potted flowers for Mothers Day and transplants.
The Greek Gourmet- will have homemade spinach and meat pies to the market each week- in addition to 20+ flavors of hummus.
PA Made Cheese-
The big news this week is that Dave and Terry Rice, owners and proprieters of Clover Creek Cheese Cellar will be making a visit to the market. They will be there from approximately 8:30 until 11:00 am. They will be brining some photos of the farm and will certainly be prepared to toalk about how the milk is produced and the cheese is made. We are really excited to have Dave and Terry visit us at the market since he has such a large following of fans who love Clover Creek products. Please stop by and welcome them to our market.
Kew Park Coffee Bar- We have more locally roasted beans from Kew Park Coffee Estate in Jamaica.
