Hello,
I am working with Dr. Kya Conner on a National Institute of Mental Health-funded grant regarding older adults and depression. We are attempting to eliminate barriers for older adults seeking depression treatment. Our study is open to
adults 60 years or older and must identify with being depressed, stressed, or anxious. Participants are compensated for their time. All eligible participants must agree to work with a Peer Educator for a time limit of 3 months. Free voluntary depression
treatment will also be offered to participants. The therapy is a modified cognitive behavioral therapy (talk therapy). The therapists are mobile and can come to a participant's home if need be. I would like to get the word out and was wondering if I could
post a small summary on your list. I have attached a brochure and a flyer for your review. I look forward to hearing from you.
Best Regards,
Chris Ward
