Just a friendly suggestion that if you have basic furnishings that you were unable to sell you might consider donating them to Off The Floor Pittsburgh.  Off The Floor Pittsburgh is a faith based, non-profit organization that provides beds, tables, chairs, linens, etc. to families that cannot afford basic furnishings.  There are cases in which the furnishings delivered by Off The Floor have made the difference in whether a mother was able to keep her children with her.

Several of your Highland Park neighbors are Off The Floor volunteers--board members, phone volunteers, and a pickup/delivery team from St. Andrew's.
