Three weeks ago a neighbor, who was walking his dog by my house, saw my cat fall from the second floor porch. He was kind enough to ring my doorbell and alert me to the situation. I just wanted to say "thanks" to him. I did rush her to the emergency clinic; she has a broken leg (now in a splint); it was traumatic for her since she's 18.5 years old, but she's doing OK and, amazingly, adapting to the splint. So, again, thanks to the unknown neighbor! What a great neighborhood!
