The driver door lock on my 2008 Honda Fit is totally stuck. The dealership wants to completely replace the lock cylinder, which is expensive. I have talked to one locksmith (at Pop-A-Lock) who is familiar with this problem and claims he can fix it, though that's still not cheap.

Most people probably don't have as much trouble, but my car is a base model and so I don't have a remote to unlock the doors--I have to use the key lock every time.

I've heard this is an issue with Honda locks--has anyone run into this, or had good or bad experiences with locksmiths, including Pop-a-lock?
