If you put stuff on your porch, you can call Vietnam Vets or go online to their website and schedule a pick up. That way all your stuff you are trying to get your neighbors to take so it "doesn't wind up in the landfill"? Will be donated to a worthy cause, help our veterans, AND not wind up in the landfill. Stop throwing out perfectly good stuff. Donate it. Plenty of people can use your discards.
