Hello, Neighbors.

I'm wondering if anyone else in the neighborhood who gardens in the Stanton Avenue city plots has had any trouble with having their produce stolen?  My son has one of the allotments and he is a wonderful gardener having a good plant year but a bad experience.  Two days ago, he arrived at his garden to find that someone had stripped his sweet peppers from the plants.  Today, he discovered that all of his eggplants have been stolen.  I know what a bitter feeling it is, as it happened to me a few years back--somebody took all of my ripe tomatoes, not once but twice.

Is anyone else having this problem?  I guess I'm just looking for company for this misery!

Highland Park is a great place to live, but the amount of thieving that goes on--from cars, porches, gardens--is unbelievable.
