Hello!

It seems that our sewer line needs to be replaced, and we were wondering if any of you have recommendations, cautionary tales, etc. regarding this kind of work.  We've had a plumber come out and take a look, so we know the problem is that our ancient cast iron pipe has eroded.  I was hoping maybe some other neighborhood old-house-owners may have experienced this and could point us in the right direction.  The estimate we got included excavating our basement, but we know there are non-invasive options out there too.  Anyone have any experience with this method?
