Dear neighbors,
I want to see ASAP a LAW that prevents cars and especially pick-up trucks from idling in Pittsburgh and PA .
We already have bad air quality and as a European I am shocked to see that lack of environmental awareness around here and the large number of people idling in Pittsburgh.
Last week at Highland park, a man was sitting in his car for more than 1 h while the temperatures were not that hot.
Today my neighbor left his pick-up truck running, with all the windows down, and he went home. How smart was this ? His truck ran for 45 min until I called 911...who was worthless.
I want Pennsylvania to be on the list of anti-idling ASAP.
States with anti-idling laws include:
- Arizona.
- California.
- Colorado.
- Connecticut.
- Delaware.
- District of Columbia.
- Georgia.
- Hawaii.
