It’s a boy! It’s a girl! It’s…a kitten! Animal Friends is hosting a “baby shower” with a whole new twist—by bringing kittens in from foster homes to help them find forever families. Let Animal Friends’ Adoption Counselors introduce you to the kittens who have been vaccinated, spayed or neutered and microchipped—but are still searching for need families who will love them forever. And, don’t forget the “empty nesters”—the mother cats whose kittens have already been adopted but await the chance to be somebody’s baby themselves. Snacks and beverages will be served and all adopters will get a small gift at the time of adoption! Best of all, at Animal Friends, feline adoptions are twice as nice – which means ONE adoption donation covers TWO adoptions!

Animal Friends' Bully-palooza Sunday, September 18 from Noon until 4 pm | Animal Friends
All dog and people-friendly bully breed canines and their families are invited to an afternoon of fun, food, education, photos and adoption opportunities. Canine Good Citizen certification testing will be available from 1 pm – 3 pm. If your Bully is a true ambassador for his breed and knows basic manners and commands (sit, stay, down, come when called, meets other dogs politely and accepts petting and brushing by others), he may be a candidate for this prestigious title. An AKC certified tester will be on-site to test your pooch if you think he is ready for the challenge.
