We used B&F plumbing to install our gas line last summer (on a recommendation from someone else). They were able to come out pretty quickly and I thought they were reasonably priced although it was my first experience with a plumber. :-)

Martin Remodeling.  He has been doing some work for several folks on the list serve.  Great work, nice guy, cheap

We recommend Mark Seigle, 412-681-9091.  Can’t say how he compares on the basis if price.

Andy Stroje was great.  We really needed a toilet replaced -- one of the old ones with the cast iron tanks.  He brought his son and they did it in about an hour and half and it only cost $150ish for labor (we bought the toilet ourselves).  Excellent clean-up, very polite.  We have a couple leaks we're going to be tending to soon, and I'll be calling him again.  412-784-8191.
