Be sure to watch ABC this weekend for a special show about psoriasis and the National Psoriasis Foundation, featuring two of Pittsburgh volunteers and advocates, Megan Sebroski and Kym Harper, one of our East End neighbors.
The ABC Everyday Health Heroes show will be aired in Pittsburgh on Sunday, November 20 at 12 p.m on ABC. Also, Kym Harper arranged a party at Olive or Twist on 140 Sixth Street in downtown Pittsburgh from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. that day. We would love to have you join us to watch and celebrate the successes of the National Psoriasis Foundation and their volunteers and advocates. The suggested donation is $5 and there will be a raffle and silent auction including an autographed photo of Hines Ward. Olive or Twist's kitchen will be open and parking is free downtown on weekends for the holidays.
Kym and Megan star in this weekend's episode of Everyday Health, a new TV show featuring young people overcoming health challenges and making a difference in the community. Everyday Health on ABC is hosted by former Survivor contestants Ethan Zohn and Jenna Morasca, also a Pittsburgh native. Kym and Megan will share their stories about psoriasis, talk about their involvement with the NPF and get their hair cut at a special cut-a-thon fundraiser at a Pittsburgh salon. The episode will also feature many scenic shots of Pittsburgh including Market Square.
Everyday Health airs nationally, Saturday mornings on ABC. See the
website for more information.
