Tom Chianelli, located on Centre Avenue, did some nice, reasonably priced work for us many years ago (restyled and reupholstered a convertible sofa). Chianelli is still in business, and it's probably worth giving them a call. Sorry I don't have their number anymore, but I'm sure it's in the phone book, from Ward Kelsey
Betty's Upholstery on Butler is good. I had all my front porch furniture reupholstered and she did a great job! I thought she was reasonable, I used my own fabric and she was fast!, from Janet Burgett
My favorite all time greatest guy is Lee Carrington. He has done all my
antique pieces and is a perfectionist. His # is 412-665-9663. He is on
Lincoln Ave and will pick up and deliver. He is a neat person as well!! From Marty Harkins
i've always been happy with the selection, service and quality at gene sanes in the strip. just be prepared to be blown away by the prices. reupholstery is incredibly pricey, but in the end you get the fabric, color and style you want. From, Stacie
I used to work in the Design & Construction Department for Kaufmann's Department Store before it merged with Filenes and now Macy's. We very frequently used an upholsterer in the Strip who did excellent work. Most of the furniture we had reupholstered was chairs used for restroom lobbies, dressing rooms, etc. but I think most of their business is residential.

Betty's down on Butler Street is competent and reasonably priced. From, Michelle Belan
They were pricey, but I used Gene Sanes Upholstery on Penn Ave. in the
strip district. They not only reupholstered an old chair that had been
in the family for generations, but touched up the wood work as well. It
turned out really nice., from Michelle Danielson
