The most reliable way to file and filter messages that come through the Highland Park Neighborhood email list is to use a header that’s usually hidden. Look at the following resource, specifically where the “List-ID” header is mentioned: http://www.w3.org/2006/tools/wiki/EmailClientForMailingListFiltering Our header looks like this: List-Id: Highland Park neighborhood mailing list <neighborhood.highlandparkpa.com> Also, let’s all remember to add “Highland Park” to our subject lines to help visually identify messages that have come through the list. Using BCC (Blind Carbon Copy) to the list defeats filtering.
Please don’t gang email and put neighborhood@highlandparkpa.com is the BCC line.
The result, at least for me, will be permanently filtering your “From” address as “don’t download from the server” and never again seeing an other email from you, no matter how it’s sent.
Thank you,
