As a responsible dog owner/walker
myself, I second this request. I have witnessed others allowing their dogs to roam about the street, messing in other people's yards while the owner stands nonchalantly by and does nothing to clean up the mess. I have found feces on my sidewalk leading to my front door, in various places in my yard, and even draped over a beautiful new spring planting! It is really upsetting to me to see this.
Our neighborhood is only as beautiful and sanitary and clean as we keep it. Please be a good neighbor and be responsible for your pets. I too, would hate to see someone fined, but am glad to know there is legal recourse.
If you cannot afford doggie poop bags, ask one of your neighbors. I am sure someone would be able to help you out.
Thanks.
