Hi,

My parents are thinking about getting rid of their 2 adult cats (sisters), 6 years old. I know! Sad! Very sad especially because my mom's backyard is a cat paradise!

Bottom line is they are becoming too much work for my mom, who is 73, and she'd rather save her energy and money for the twins.

I told them not to do anything drastic, I would ask around first before they take them to a shelter.

One is short-haired tortoise, tabby, calico mixture, the other is long-haired tortoise. Both fixed, both female, both have claws, both current on shots. They have no health problems. They are very well-behaved, litter-trained, don't spray in the house, and when let outside they come back with no problems.

So if you know of anyone who may be interested, please let me know! I would take them if I didn't have a dog who hates cats.
