I am looking for a handful of fosters for a few of our long timers.  

I am hoping you can help me out.  If you are not currently in a position to foster any of the dogs listed; please feel free to spread the word and help me get these guys out of here.  

The challenge is that all 3 of them need to be only children.  They do not thrive with other dogs and cannot live with cats.  If you have a home that fits this description, please consider taking one of these lovely dogs.  They really need a break from the stress of the kennel & I don't want to see them deteriorate.  They are all very loving and enjoy the company of people.

The foster period is flexible; but I would like to see them in foster for about 1 month.  All of the dogs will remain available for adoption while in foster; so you can promote them & we will keep them visible on our website. 

I have placed a small description of each dog under their pictures!   

 CHAMP

Champ: This cutie pie is a buff colored 2 year old American Staffordshire Terrier.  He is not adjusting well to kennel life and finds the environment too stressful!  He is a very playful & athletic dog- one of his favorite things to do is splash around in water.  Champ also loves to be around people.  He know's some super cool tricks like sit, paw, down and rollover.  He would make a great running partner and would be best with a family who is very active.  He is also smart and would love to continue learning while he is in foster; so ideally he will be with a family that does not mind training and play time that will  keep him engaged! He needs to be in a home with teens/adults only!

 NANA 

Nana: This wonderful older lady is just looking for some company in her golden years!  She is a lovely 10 year old Pit mix that really enjoys spending time with people.  She is a big marshmallow.  Nana promises to laugh at all of your jokes (even the not so funny ones) and be an excellent house guest. She still has a ton of spunk for a senior citizen and loves her daily walks here at the shelter.  She will make an excellent walking partner.  Nana seems to be good with all different types of people; however, she may not wish to deal with toddlers at her age so she will fit best in a home with respectful, older children. 

 KING

King: Our Prom King is a 1 year old red pit bull mix!  This guy really knows how to work a crowd and everyone loves him.  He enjoys snuggles on the couch, ice cream and long walks. He loves to play; but is (admittedly) not good at catch!  He really enjoys splashing around in the pool.  King is best with older, respectful children.  He is very polite and gentle; but we don't want him to accidently knock over a small child when he gets a case of the zoomies!
