Dear Council Members,

Due to the October 21 Citywide Public Safety Meeting the next Zone 5 Public Safety Meeting will take place Tuesday November 10th..
The Citywide Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday. October 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Pittsburgh Project, 2801Charles Street which is located on the North Side.

During the September 8th meeting, discussions took place about setting up a committee structure as a way to address issues facing the Zone.

Committees are; Youth, Social Media, Field, Media and Business. We look forward to everyone taking part in at least one committee.

Upcoming projects include the Thanksgiving Dinner Project hosted by the Pittsburgh Police; the December Meet and Greet at the Zone 5 Police Headquarters along with a toy drive. And the Youth Meeting in May. 

We look forward to a strong and successful 2015/16 Zone 5 Council.
