Today, while walking my dogs, I spotted a full grown doe grazing in the garden a 6507 Jackson. It was a really kind of a nice surprise. Then again, it wasn't my garden. She seemed not the least bit interested in or bothered by our presence. She just kept an eye on us and continued to enjoy what must have been a lovely buffet for her. She must have been hungry since it was already 1030am and there was a lot of activity on the street. I'm sure it's not the only garden that's been sampled by the four legged occupants of Highland Park. So, if you're wondering why your plants look a little ragged...now you know.
