I am seeking referrals to veterinarians or animal organizations that do dental work on dogs. My dog needs his teeth cleaned and possibly a couple of extractions. However, I really need to find a vet that is affordable, or charges on a sliding scale, or does financing, or some combination of these. I simply don't have the money to pay an outrageous amount for canine dental work (one estimate I received was between $1,800 and $3,600, which I cannot afford).

If you have a recommendation for a vet or other animal organization that provides affordable dental work then I would love to have the information.
