I just want to confirm that a black bear has been seen in the neighborhood near the park around Heberton.  It's my understanding that the police, Animal Control, and the Game Warden are on site and at least some of the roads are closed in that area.  If you live in that area, please stay inside and keep children and pets inside for a while. If you don't live in that area, please don't go check it out.  Things will go better for everyone - the bear, the public, and the professionals on-site - if the bear does not get agitated and the experts have the space they need to respond.
