CitiParks to Open Six Cooling Centers
Monday, July 8th & Tuesday, July 9th
Pittsburgh, PA – CitiParks will activate six Healthy Active Living Centers as Cooling Centers on Monday, July 8 and Tuesday, July 9 2024 as forecasted temperature look to exceed 90 degrees. These six centers will be open from 8 AM to 7 PM:
Beechview Healthy Active Living Community Center
Greenfield Healthy Active Living Community Center
Pittsburgh, PA 15217
Homewood Healthy Active Living Community Center
Pittsburgh, PA 15208
Sheraden Healthy Active Living Community Center
South Side Healthy Active Living Community Center
Note: CitiParks and the City of Pittsburgh will typically activate cooling centers when the forecasted highs are predicted to be above 90 degrees.
