Thank you, neighbors for your suggestions on where to recycle/donate running shoes. Here is what was suggested:

1) Club One on Penn (verified)

2) donation box on Stanton, bear tennis courts (rumored to have once been there, I did not check it out)

3) Nike stores (unverified)

4) Famous Footwear (unverified)

I took my shoes in to Club One. They have a small box in the lobby. It was overwhelmed by my bag of shoes, but the desk attendant didn’t seem to mind.
