[Highland Park] security alert

Last night someone walked up our driveway on N. Highland near the park and went thru the glove compartment of our SUV. We found the door open and papers strewn inside the SUV. The only thing that was taken was an eyeglass holder full of change for tolls and parking meters. Silly us, we never locked the SUV which has a security system as we thought this could never happen in our neighborhood. If you all know the homes in our area, you would realize that the person would have to walk quite a ways to get up our driveway and for sure must have triggered the motion detecter spotlights in our driveway during the escapade.
