[Highland Park] yet another car break-in

My car was broken into last night in the 1000 block of St. Clair -- the 3rd time in a few years -- and I have reported it to the police. My car is 14 years old, I keep nothing in it, and I keep all the compartments open to show that there is nothing to steal. The police do not advise leaving a parked car unlocked, but I will be doing that from now on, as I can't afford to keep replacing broken windows. I am tired of this!
