The Highland Park Neighborhood email list is 22 years old. It uses tried-and-true mailing list tech, with all (or nearly all) of the modern things a site must do to function on the modern email world.

Big mail providers have notched up their anti-spam practices to the point where it’s hard to be a little mail provider. You can see this when you get notices that a message from the list to you has bounced.

If you would like to be involved in discussions about what to do next, and if you know what SMTP, SPF, & DKIM mean, reply to me. We’ll get together and figure it out.
