Your local Primary Care Doc (my office is right on Bryant Street) and Walk with a Doc chapter leader here with a fun challenge for our neighborhood to do!
Please join me for the 2020 Walk with a Doc Kilimanjaro challenge. From November 14-28, participants will virtually trek Kilimanjaro by engaging in physical activities of their choice (walk, swim, run, garden, etc). Participants will take to the streets, trails, safe spaces or in their homes and log activity on a virtual platform to show their progress.
I’m partnering up with Walk Pittsburgh this year to get our city excited about staying active as we head into winter, and I know Highland Park is definitely one of the most active neighborhoods! You can join my group #pghwalks here and register for the challenge. I would love to see a big showing from our neighborhood and encourage you to share with people from all across the globe, since its an international event.
