Enjoy
a tasting of Washington-era drinks and a discussion of their origins,
including brandy, rum, whiskey, beers, and punch, all set to the music
of 18th century drinking songs.

George Washington's varied roles in Western Pennsylvania,
including surveyor, land owner, and soldier through presentations by
scholars and an overview by an actor-historian portraying "The
General" himself.

will also discuss Washington's role in the Whiskey Rebellion and tour
the History
Center's most recent traveling exhibition Discover the Real
George Washington: New Views from Mount Vernon.
