Dear Neighbors,
Hello from Emma Somers and Rosa Vitti -- we are 10th grade students at Obama Academy. We are working on a project about the history of our school, which was formed a few years ago. Our school carries on the IB program of Schenley High School and is now located in what was Peabody High School.
We believe it is important to recognize and learn from the history of these two great Pittsburgh schools, so our project is focusing on the history, contributions and impact of Peabody and Schenley.
We are interested in interviewing people who graduated from, worked for, or were in any way affiliated with Peabody and Schenley. We'd like to talk to you about your memories, your experiences, and the impact you think your school had on you and on the city.
