I'm writing again to update about the search for Clementine. If you are just catching onto my posts, I am copying my original post below this one with a picture attached for reference.

We are still SO grateful and surprised by all the support we've received from the community - thank you to everyone who has been involved in trying to get her back home!

Clementine is still on the go. Literally. There were many sightings throughout the day and she does not seem to be slowing down at all - everyone who has seen her has reported that she is constantly running, and fast. Fortunately, she seems to be developing a new pattern relatively close to our home. The sightings yesterday evening and today have clustered around the park entrance and along the streets nearby. At this point, knowing how scared she is, we really believe it is best to let her get comfortable in that pattern so that she doesn't venture out any farther.

As hard as it is, that means that we need to lay low and back off from searching those areas. A team of animal rescue professionals is helping us now. We have a plan in place with them and we have a lot of faith that it will work! If you do see her, please do let us know but resist the urge to follow her or acknowledge her because it's very possible that she will relocate again if she feels targeted where she is. Basically, we want to keep tabs on where she's spending her time without her knowing that she's being seen.

We can't begin to express our gratitude for the many ways that people have helped us help Clementine over the past couple days. I'll just keep saying thank you and updating as things come up for now!

First Post from Nov 23 (with a few updates): My partner and I adopted an extremely shy and skittish black lab and basset hound mix today only to have her wiggle out of her full harness and leash as we stepped out of the car to bring her into her new home. She darted down the alley at the end of Mellon by the high rise at around 6:30pm Saturday.

Her name is Clementine. She is an absolute sweetheart and we were really looking forward to giving her a home and helping her gain trust in people again :( She has no idea where she is and we suspect she's hiding out under a bush or in a yard somewhere nearby. It's unlikely that she will come to someone trying to offer help. She is about 1 year old and 40 pounds but very short. Imagine a lab head on a tiny basset body. She is wearing a black collar and possibly a white temporary paper collar from the rescue center.

If you have seen her or have any information that might help us find her, please call us at 727-458-5237 (Katie) or 814-758-2119 (Kelly). Any help is very appreciated!
