Hello!

My name is Sofia Sparks, I recently moved to Highland Park and am available as a nanny, babysitter, or tutor. 

I have 10+ years of experience working with children from infancy to middle school age, am up to date on all clearances (FBI, Child Abuse, and State), and have worked in both private and educational settings including Falk Laboratory School and the University Child Development Center. I love working with children of all stages and needs, whether through creative play, outdoor immersion, or homework help. 

I am advanced in English composition and various early elementary studies, as well as having proficiency and recent training in Algebras 1&2, French, Spanish, and some science areas. I have studied studio arts, film photography, and other areas that prioritize creative thinking and curiosity!

My availability is flexible (full time student taking classes remotely) and I am happy to take on both recurring needs and one-timers. My rates fluctuate between $15-25 an hour based on number of children/specific need. I am very COVID conscious and am willing to work with your specific level of comfort.
