We have a first floor apartment for rent, beginning Sept. 1^st.   

Very nice 2 bedroom apt - spacious, clean, and renovated in 2010.  Close to bus lines on Highland and Negley, allowing ready access to Oakland and other East End neighborhoods.

First floor of Victorian house has 10’ ceilings and 6’ windows. Lots of light. Built-in bookcases in LR and lovely mantels in the LR and DR. Fireplaces are non-functional. Gas heat and central AC, w/w in LR, DR, hall, & BRs with tile floors at entry and in kitchen and bath. Kitchen is small, but has good cabinet space, newer fridge, gas range, and a dishwasher. Ceiling fans in DR & BRs. Custom mini-blinds on windows and doors. Newer storm doors and Marvin windows with screens. Recently painted in neutral colors.

Tenants share free w/d in cellar, fenced backyard, and large side yard with 2nd flr landlords.  Space will be allowed for garden, if desired. One off-street parking space is included in the lease.Rent is $950.00 plus electric per month. We pay for gas and water.

We will check your references – employer, previous landlord, etc. Clean, vaccinated, housetrained, and leash walked pets (up to 2) are OK – but we will also check their references, e.g. vet, trainer, previous landlord and neighbors.

We are looking for a family, professionals, grad students, or other responsible adults. We live on the 2^nd floor. We would like to have clean, quiet, friendly people downstairs – who would sign a lease for a year, or preferably, stay longer.  

We can provide references as well. We are quiet landlords. We don’t interfere, but we attend to any problems quickly
