Few things to report:
1. On Sept 30 (Saturday) an African American man was reported as "casing" our neighbor's house at 918 N. Sheridan Avenue at 12:30 p.m. This despite presence of painters working at house, etc.. While nothing was stolen, clearly the man was on the lookout as he entered by way of driveway only to be surprsied by painters in back of the house.
2. Holdup at corner of Jackson and Farrugut. Perhaps this was reported but it happened two weeks ago (Sept 14) as young man was walking home at 11 p.m. on a Thursday night. He was surprised by guy who jumped out from bush and held gun to his head. Thankfully he was not harmed but disturbing.
3. Indecent exposure at corner of Farrugut and Wellsley. Approx. 1 week ago a man exposed himself to one of our neighbors and asked her for oral sex. This too happened in broad daylight.
With the rash of incidents I believe we need to have some intervention by politicians and police force. Has anyone pursued this with these bodies? Please advise as I would like to make that happen.

Hello all,
They must be making the rounds. We awoke to find our garage riffled AGAIN. As we haven't replaced the bikes they stole last time and haven't been carrying cds in the car, nothing was taken but an (empty) cd case. We filed a police report anyway.
