Here's your chance to have a say in the future of land use in the city.

From the Dept of City Planning:

Last week, Mayor Peduto announced the launch of ForgingPGH, the first-ever citywide comprehensive land use plan for the city of Pittsburgh. The Department of City Planning is leading this effort to set a vision and plan for the city for the next 20 years.

An online workshop is now open for participation: https://engage.pittsburghpa.gov/forgingpgh. From now until October 1, participants can identify locations on a map where they would like to see certain land uses (employment centers, open space, affordable housing, etc.) developed or preserved. The markers on the map will help shape the comprehensive land use plan, and in turn, the city’s future growth.
