The Pittsburgh Festival Orchestra under the direction of Dr. Melissa McBride will present a concert on Monday, May 14th at 8 pm at St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Highland Park. The orchestra will perform Tchaikovskys Serenade for Strings, Simple Symphony of Benjamin Britten, Serenade by Josef Suk, and will feature guest artist Charles Lirette of the Pittsburgh Symphony in Telemanns Concerto in D for Trumpet and String Orchestra. A wine and hors doeuvre reception will follow the concert. St Andrews Church is located at the corner of Hampton and North Euclid, one block west of Highland Avenue, four blocks south of the park, in the East End Pittsburgh neighborhood of Highland Park.
