Some of you have been appalled by the idea that Petco would've sold Sunny. Not true! I apologize, when I made that statement, it must have been an assumption on my part. The fact is, Petco will not sell your pet! They take in stray or lost animals and hold them for 48 hours. When they find someone to adopt them, there are agreements to sign. I don't know exactly what happens after 48 hours if they do not find the owners or a family to adopt.

The point is, we are extremely happy with all that Petco has done to help us be re-united with Sunny and we would hate for Petco to receive negative publicity in any way over Sunny's Big Adventure.
