Hi neighbors,

Book 'Em, a wonderful nonprofit in Garfield that sends books to incarcerated people, is in need of books! Specifically, the three most-requested categories: mysteries, fantasy novels, and thrillers (paperback or hardback okay). There are a other categories of books that they're always in need of - full list at the bottom of this e-mail.

If you have any books in those categories that you're done with, I have a collection box on my porch at 5505 Margaretta St. Come by and drop them off anytime before Thursday (October 1st), and I'll make sure they make it to Book 'Em and then to the people who need them. Please don't drop off books not in these categories - they have limited space! If you don't have books to give but still want to support this organization, you can donate here.
