We are asking for help with our two sweet cats after a long and happy life with us because we now have a toddler and another baby on the way. We love them immensely, but they need better kitty parents
with more time to play and cuddle with them. They need to be away from toddlers and babies so they are less stressed in their old age. We are sad to see them go, but it is the right thing for them. FYI: this is not an impulsive decision, but something we have
been sadly debating for months.
Who: Two 14 year old black cats (litter mates) looking for a loving home. They both have bright green eyes, “GirlCat” and “Einstein.” GirlCat is playful, sometimes shy, but loves being pet and playing
with feathers and random twist ties. She will cuddle on your lap when she gets to know you. She is an excellent bug huntress. Einstein is friendly, energetic, likes lasers, and also loves being pet and being in laps. They also like to cuddle together.
Full disclosure: Einstein is hypothyroid and needs a daily medication to keep his energy up. They are indoor cats only and declawed on front paws, spayed/neutered. Their diet consists of wet food two-three times a day, but will munch on dry food in between.
They have a clean bill of health from the vet last week! Sometimes they hiss at each other during times of transition, but this is rare.
We do feel like they could be adopted separately if desired. They have been with each other a long time, but also seem to be ok when alone. We also feel strongly that a place without other pets is best
for their health at this point.
