Good morning Zone 5 neighbors!

Attached is your Community Crime Update for the week of February 13th - 19th.

This week, a number of Zone 5 officers will be meeting with a group of youth from Garfield to give them a chance to get to know our cops on a more personal level . This is part of our ongoing commitment to building trust with the kids in our neighborhoods. If you are part of a community organization and would like to host one of these meetings, we would more than happy to attend (and we bring lunch or dinner for the kids, too.)

We will also be at Willie T's Barber Shop in Homewood on Wednesday evening for another 8-week run of "Raising Readers Together" where Zone 5 officers have dinner with kids from the neighborhood and join them for a book-reading.
