Happy Holidays Neighbors~

I'm looking for some kind of volunteer opportunity on Christmas Day (serving meals, delivering gifts, etc). Is anyone on the list familiar with agencies who need volunteers on Christmas (preferably in the earlier part of the day)? I've already contacted the JCC, but they have the volunteers that they need.

Subject: [Highland Park] Magazines

I receive an abundance of magazines each week, most of which I leaf through only once, and wondered if anyone in the neighborhood would like to either read them or donate them to someone.  I currently get Rolling Stone, Esquire, Parenting, The Nation, Consumer Reports, Maxim(just received subscription for X-mas), to name a few.  I just hate throwing them away whenever I clean up.
