This Tuesday, March 11, Pittsburgh City Council President Doug Shieldswill introduce the Will of Council (attached below) supporting thelost/stolen gun legislation that CeaseFire PA is attempting to pass in the

state. As you know, I am organizing folks in this area to work with CeaseFire

to help reduce gun violence in our neighborhoods.

You are all invited to come downtown to either of two events: the City Council 

meeting at 10:00 a.m., and/or a press conference at 1:00 p.m. You will

be able to speak in favor of the legislation if you so desire. Our presence as

at the 1:00 is more crucial as we are trying to get as much press coverage as 

possible on this issue. If you work downtown and want to stop by on your

lunch hour, that would be great!
