I want to endorse Melissa's recommendation of Steve Karl. Steve has done similar things for me, including rescuing my hard drive about a year ago. He also gave me various things to try first at my home at no charge. When they did not work, he came to our home and PICKED UP the computer at no charge. Also, at our request, he also gave us recommendations for surge protectors and other equipment. We would HIGHLY recommend Steve Karl for your computer needs/issues. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and also a very nice guy!!!
