The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra is returning to East Liberty for a
fourth annual Community Engagement Concert! The PSO will present a
Community Engagement Concert at East Liberty Presbyterian Church on
Friday, October 15th at 7:00 p.m. PSO Resident Conductor Lawrence Loh
will conduct. The PSO's Associate Principal horn, Stephen Kostyniak,
will perform Mozart's Fourth Horn Concerto with the PSO; the concert
will also feature music by Beethoven, Rossini, and Tchaikovsky.
A
pre-concert student performance will take place from 6:00-6:45, and a
post-concert student performance will take place from 8:30-9:00 (both in
the ELPC Social Hall). Tickets cost $10 for adults, $5 for college
students, and seniors 65+; FREE for children and youth 18 and under who
are accompanied by a parent/guardian. All ticket proceeds from the
concert will benefit area music education programs. Tickets are
available for advance purchase as well as night of performance at
East Liberty Presbyterian Church.
