This November, Pittsburgh residents will vote on a referendum to decide on the future of public funding for Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh (CLP) by creating a dedicated levy to support it. The outcome of that referendum will have far reaching implications on CLP and the valuable services it provides to our communities. Please join us for a conversation about this issue with Patrick Dowd, member of Pittsburgh City Council and Co-Chair of the CLP Joint Task-force on Sustainable Funding, and Jake Pawlak, Community Outreach Coordinator for the Our Library, Our Future Voter Initiative, a community-based effort to encourage voters to support the referendum."
