April starts the time period for street cleaning in the City.  This is what the signs say, so be aware of the days of the week that your street is scheduled to be cleaned.

Although they don't clean the streets every week that the signs say (it is the first and third Thursday of the month on my street), that one time you forget is when they will actually come, and then you get a ticket.

I like to move my truck from in front of my house on street cleaning days, since that gives me a chance to sweep the street.   I don't have much faith in our street cleaners, since even when they do show up, I have to get the broom out to make the street clean.
