I am an extreme novice at riding a bike (I've only been on a bike a handful of times in my life) and am looking for a used bike. Both of my sons got bicycles for Easter last year (!) and have so far had very little opportunity to ride (or learn to ride) them, because neither I nor my husband has a bike of our own, and I don't know of many places I can take them to practice. I'd like to be able to get out and ride with them so we can all learn together, but buying a new bike is not in the cards for me right now. So I'm wondering if any of my wonderful neighbors has a used bike that's collecting dust and looking for a new owner. The more basic, the better, and I don't care what it looks like, as long as it's in working condition. I can pay for it, but not much (no more than maybe $25-$30).
