Am trying to find out if anyone else has had a problem collecting money from PWSA. In the spring my car went in a sinkhole at Stevenson's Place (alley behind Penn Circle S.) Water had been there for some time and yet when I drove over it I went into a sinkhole that damaged my car (over $1500 worth). I called PWSA and my insurance company, who thankfully paid all but my $500 deduct. Months later when I still had not received my deduct back, my insurance company followed up and PWSA said I had not mailed a required form. I had never been told when I reported it that I needed to fill out any form...but we got it...filled it out..mailed it back....and waited. Again, months later my insurance company follows up and I finally get a letter saying that they have governmental protection and that they are denying my claim????

First,,,if they are indeed not liable..why not say so in the first place. Does anyone know how I go about pursuing this matter or if indeed there can be an area with a sinkhole and they are indeed not liable???
