Re: [Highland Park] Car Break-ins

It's not just Highland Park area either... I moved to Squirrel Hill but still read this list. My car was broken into earlier this year. The thief broke a window to unlock the car and stole some quarters. (I of course filed a police report.) Now I leave my car unlocked -- since it's an 11-year-old beat-up Honda, I don't leave anything valuable in it, and if they want the quarters that bad I'd rather not have to pay to replace a broken window... :-) Since then it's been entered again at least once and stuff rummaged through, but I don't really care that much...
